- How can I log onto ORION’s Internet network?
Your computer must be equipped with a wireless Internet access device, such as Wi-Fi or a wireless card. This device is usually installed on recent computers. If your computer is not equipped with such a device, you can get a wireless card in most computer equipment shops. An external wireless device can also be plugged into a USB port on your computer. The price usually ranges from $60 to $125.
- How can I install a wireless card?
You must first install the device drivers. They are usually on the CD-Rom provided with your card. After installing the drivers, you must stop your computer, insert your wireless card and reboot. Your computer should detect the new hardware. When you install your wireless card, you must specify a SSID code. The SSID must be “orion” (lower case). Your card must be in the infrastructure mode.

- I can’t see any Web pages. What can I do?
Check the basic steps. Make sure the SSID code “orion” is written in lower case. In most cases, you must reboot your computer after modifying the SSID code. Make sure your card is in the infrastructure mode.
- My card has several channels and speeds. Do I have to modify these settings?
It is recommended to select the AUTO mode. That way, your card will automatically adapt to the best conditions for optimum efficiency.
- Do you offer fix IP addresses with this service?
No, there is no fix IP address with this service.
- How many e-mail addresses are provided with the ORION service?
The occasional service does not include e-mail. Regular packages include 4 e-mail addresses. You can easily obtain an e-mail address from services such as Hotmail.com or Yahoo.com.
- How can I terminate my online time?
When you are logged on, a small window indicating your connection time and a log off button appear. You can terminate your session by simply clicking on this button. If you fail to terminate your session, our system will do it 3 minutes after you have left the air.
