No need to modify your network settings with ORION!
The Orion system is usually made up of a high-speed access DSL system, a wireless transmission system with antenna.
How can I log onto the system?
The Orion system offers you the possibility to easily log onto the Internet network in public places such as restaurants, hotels, business centres or rest areas.
How to link with the Orion system.
Step 1: Simply locate an establishment with the “HotSpot Orion” logo and ask information at the cash desk on how to buy your surfing minutes. You will receive a prepaid card including a user's name and a password. 30, 60 and 500 minute prepaid cards are available.
Step 2: Turn on your laptop (PC or Mac), make sure your wireless device SSID is set to "orion", and start your Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Mozilla or other). Your home page will be ORION system’s page requiring your user's name and password.
Step 3: Fill out the userS name and password fields inscribed on your card. Once this information is entered, your usual home page will appear and Internet will be fully operational. Your minute card can be used at every ORION access point until time is up
NO configuration needed!
 Orion system automatically adapts to every network configurations, including DHCP, DNS, dynamic IP and static IP. Every time a user logs onto the system and turn on the Internet browser, Orion automatically accepts his computer’s network configuration and starts the communication. |
